What are your top five favorite Broadway shows?
#3. Jersey Boys
#4. The Phantom of the Opera
#5. Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Which character in a musical or play do you most identify with and why
Fiyero from Wicked because he’s easily confused.
Have you ever performed on stage?
Yes. Loved it, but wasn’t very good at it, which is why I answered earlier that I work at a software company…
What does theater and/or Broadway mean to you?
FUN! JOY! MAGIC! BIG EXPERIENCE! It’s that moment when the show starts and you feel that tingle in your stomach. Or that moment during “Defying Gravity” when you can’t help but tear up. Or at the end of HAMILTON when you cried and you weren’t sure if it was the dramatic moment, or just because you didn’t want the show to end.
What is one thing that someone would be surprised to know about you?
Most are surprised when they learn that I love the theater.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Rock star Rick Springfield. Was my first live concert. I saw him play live at the county fair when I was a sophomore in high school. Saw bunch of hot girls from my school just completely losing their minds in front of the stage (like… throwing bras and stuff). Bought a guitar next.
Is there anything else that we (and other Broadway fans) should know about you?
I am the #1 fan of the awesome customer service department at SHN.
